Becker’s Hospital Review named UAB Medicine Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) John Petrov to its 2024 list of CHROs and Chief People Officers to Know.
According to Becker’s, the leaders on the list have a “wide range of responsibilities, including oversight of recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, development, and much more. As top human resources executives, their efforts are crucial in shaping workforce culture in alignment with their organization’s values.”
Petrov joined UAB Medicine in January 2024. He oversees human resources functions for UAB Medicine and our 22,000 employees. Before coming to UAB, he was senior vice president and CHRO for Richmond, Va.-based VCU Health.
