Nursing teams from UAB Medicine and Children’s of Alabama came together on October 20th for the first-ever Heart of Bham Nurses Block Party, which was an unforgettable celebration that included food, games, fun, and community spirit.
Food trucks lined the event, offering a delicious variety of bites from savory southern classics to sweet treats that satisfied every craving.
Games were set up all around, and whether you were tossing bean bags, playing giant Jenga, or taking a pose in the photo booth, laughter was the true winner of the night as the nurses got a well-deserved break from their hectic routines and were able to connect with each other.
The Heart of Bham Nurses Block Party was more than just a time of fun—it was a celebration of the incredible work nurses do, day in and day out. It was a reminder that Birmingham’s nurses are the true heartbeat of health care in our community.
