UAB Health System Cancer Community Network

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Health System Cancer Community Network was established by the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center and UAB Medicine to enhance cancer services in the region by joining forces with community cancer centers to pursue high quality patient outcomes, improved access to early cancer detection and treatment, and optimal patient satisfaction at a local level.

The UAB Health System Cancer Community Network is a program serving community hospitals and cancer centers in 10 communities across Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee that emphasizes collaboration between UAB and community physicians on evidence based guidelines for cancer treatment to patients in the local communities.
