The UAB Fetal Diagnosis and Care Center not only brings our experts together, but our state-of-the-art facilities, too. The UAB Women & Infants Center and Children’s of Alabama Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children and its Joseph S. Bruno Pediatric Heart Center, home to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), are connected by a sky bridge, and the delivery rooms are just steps away from the UAB Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU).
