September is Cholesterol Education Month

Cholesterol levels are affected both by your genetics and what you eat. To keep your cholesterol numbers where they should be and cardiovascular disease at bay have your cholesterol checked and follow and heart-healthy diet. 2010 AHA Heart Walk

Visit the UAB Medicine tent at this year's American Heart Association Heart Walk on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Linn Park in downtown Birmingham. UAB will be providing heart healthy snacks and recipes. Walk festivities begin at 7:30 a.m.
